Acacia honey originates from central areas of the locust forests in the Homolj Mountains. It is light green and has a distinctive scent and flavour. It takes a long period to crystallize into small grains, which then turn milky white.

  Therapeutic qualities

ACACIA HONEY’s agreeably mild flavour, low presence of pollen (unwanted for allergies) and distinct therapeutic qualities make it extremely nutritious for younger people. This honey’s aromatic flavour also stimulates the appetite and speeds recovery. By regulating the secretion of stomach acids, it also acts to prevent bronchial problems.

  Consumption

It is best to have one coffee spoon (more if necessary) of acacia honey every morning before breakfast or to dissolve it in lukewarm water, milk, tea, or better yet, apple vinegar.

  How to store

ACACIA HONEY should be stored at room temperature and away from direct sunlight.

  Advice

The crystallization of honey is a natural process. To turn crystallized honey into liquid, place the jar of honey into a water-filled receptacle and heat it to no more than 50ºC, so as not to destroy the honey’s therapeutic qualities.
